Sunday Breakfast

To me as a child Uncle Wayne was always the cool Uncle, but in fairness to my other Uncle's that was because he was the youngest and hadn't settled down yet. I remember as a child Uncle Wayne stopping by on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Mom and Dad would invite him to have breakfast with us. Uncle Wayne at the time was very tall, and thin. One would think the man hardly ate. One Sunday he stopped by he ate a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread toasted, it was no big deal for we had our own laying hens. I can remember Mom and Dad teasing Uncle Wayne about not knowing where he put all that food, It was just astonision to see such a thin man eat that much and never gain any weight. Oh Uncle Wayne to have had a motablizum like yours You have always had a special spot in my heart, out of sight does not mean out of mind. I may have moved way out west but that does not mean I have forgotten my roots and where I come from. I still and always will hold all of my family close and dear to my heart. Love Always Brenda-Lee
