Frank passed away September 12, 2019 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his parents Frank Sr. and Velma (James) Preston and his brothers William (Laura) and James (Mary) Preston. Loving father of Lorrie (Karen), Douglas, Chryle, Roxanne, Robert Shawn, Mechelle (Ron) and Richard (Jessica). Grandfather to 16 and great-grandfather of 4. Frank will be sadly missed by his sister Alice (Charles) Lesperance and his brother Terry (Lillian) Preston as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was born in Woodstock, NB and later moved to the North Shore to be closer to his mother. He joined the Canadian Army and served in Canada, Germany and Egypt. When he left the Armed Forces he spent many years with the Woodstock and Newcastle Town Police Forces along with the NB Highway Patrol in Douglastown, NB (before they disbanded). As per Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be taken to NB in the springtime. A Celebration of Life will take place in NB at a later date.
