The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cecilia Kevan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To All the Kevan Family
Myself and my children have all been saddened to hear of our Auntie Babes passing. Ryan, Sarah and Heather have all been reminiscing of all the memories over the years during our life with her nephew, Douglas Thomson.
We always stopped in, sometimes at short notice, on our way to or from visiting friends in Ottawa.
We were always welcomed with the most delicious tea or coffee (made with their well water) and brownies or cookies or the most delicious soup. The table was perpetually set for company. How lucky you all were!!!
I will endeavour to emulate her practice of welcoming all comers, be they be friends or family with delicious baking and welcoming hot beverages (as well as comforting libations)
Auntie Babe welcomed everyone with open arms and heart.
Love her to bits.
Catherine Thomson, wife of her late nephew, Douglas Thomson.

"Your mother is always with you...Your mother lives inside your laughter...She’s crystallized in every tear drop...She’s the place you came from-your first home...She’s your first love and your first heartbreak. Nothing on earth can separate you; not time, not space, not even death will ever separate you from your mother." Author Unknown
