The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Owen Pepper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Oune, Ace and the entire Pepper family. I'm so terribly sorry for my late condolences to all of you, as my father also just recently passed but, I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts. Condolence From: Russ Hoas
Condolence: I arrived in Smiths Falls in Jan. 1996. It wasn't very long before Oune and myself sat down and had a RR talk, about small towns, being a railroader and hunting and fishing. While I am younger by 16 years I told him of my growing up in a RR family, hunting on the farm with my brother, fishing, maki.g maple syrup and my first RR job...as A clerk, something I was good at and always respected. Owen gave me a hand drawn ( pencil) steam locomotive set at the Smiths Falls station, it still hangs in a conspicuous place in our home. Truly a man/person of character...my privelige to have met him. Condolences to all the family and Carole.
