I'll never forget the summer of 1970, when John decided to reshingle the roof at 21 Gladstone Ave. He hired some fly by night guy....I guess he was a few bucks cheaper than someone in the book. Anyway, the guy stripped the roof of old shingles, and then told John he had a job offer somewhere else, he couldn't turn down. Dad was in a real spot. You came by, and spent the next 3 days on the roof with John, doing the tar paper & shingles. Always thought that you were like a younger brother to John, and an older brother to us! R.I.P. Paul.
