There’s an empty place in a familiar pew

A bright smile absent from the crowd

Spring winds gust across Cameron Sideroad

And whisper farewell through the cracks in the red brick

A life well lived, a spirit now at peace

Faced her cruel adversary with valour

And unshakeable, everlasting faith

Apart from us; but not forgotten

Living on in the hearts and thoughts

Her quick smile, her generous nature,

Who holds her now.
