Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Edna (nee Burnham) and her beloved husband Eric Hugh Kirby. Loved and respected mother of the late David Hugh Kirby, Hugh Kirby, Gail (Steve Fournier) Comeau, Brenda (Blaine) Wright and Roy (Lee) Kirby. Cherished Grandmother to Justin Kirby, Brian (Jackie) Comeau, Ryan (Amber) Comeau, Crystal (Shane) Auger, Jeff (Tegan) Wright, Chelsea (Dana) Graczol, Erika Comeau, Wolf, Chantel, Shadow and Kaitlyn Kirby. Much loved Great-grandmother of 13. Sadly missed by brothers Douglas Lassemba, Larry (Diane) Lassemba, the late Alice Lassemba and the late Gordon (Irene) Lassemba. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Blair & Son Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Toledo. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to CHEO.
