Ken passed away in hospital in Kingston on Saturday August 23rd 2014 as the result of a massive stroke. He was well known in the Perth area for his catering and hospitality services and in latter years, his dedication to young people as a school bus driver and driver for Merrywood Camp. Ken will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Rose Marie, sons Troy (Stasia Skrok) and Roger (Julie Ducharme) and daughter Pamela Young. He will be fondly remembered by Rose Marie's sister Nancy Edgar-Ward and her husband Jim Ward, their children Heather and Colin Ward and many good friends. Ken was predeceased by his parents Caroline (Hannah) and Kenneth Young. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth on Wednesday August 27th, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A service to celebrate Ken's life will be held in the chapel Thursday at 10:30 A.M. In remembrance, memorial donations to Merrywood Camp or the Kingston General Hospital would be appreciated.
