Condolence: Dear Marie and Families. We were so sorry to hear of Elton's passing. Elton has left many fond memories. So happy to have his crafty work here in our house. There are many times that it brings Elton to our minds. Which was the intent when we had him make up the stained glass light and bulk head in our kitchen. Elton took part in match making bringing Roger and I together. Quite the match maker. He brings many smiles into our lives as we are sure he does for his families. Condolence: To Rob, So sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing. He was a very nice,kind man. He and Marie were very good neighbours to Shirley(Tom's sister) & Paul Henderson. Condolence: My sympathy to Marie and family. I started to ride Elton's school bus at the early age of 5 or 6 and for many years after that. I can remember an instance that my winter hat was tossed out the window of the bus by a rather nasty individual. I went up to the front of the bus and told Elton. Within a few short seconds the bus was pulled over to the side of the road. I stayed up front while Elton went to the back of the bus to confront the individual who had committed the act. I never once was bothered by anyone on the bus again. Elton saved my life at the age of sixteen. I had just purchased a motorcycle and had little regard for the rules of the road. On day after school I was riding behind Elton's bus. Being rather impatient I did not wait for oncoming traffic to clear and proceeded to pass the bus on the yellow line. That night Elton took the time to call my parents and informed them of my dare devil act. The motorcycle was sold a short time later. Both Elton and Marie have shown great kindness to my parents over the years and that has been greatly appreciated. John Clark

Condolence: Dear Marie and family: I am truly sorry for your loss. Elton was a wonderful man, and a very good friend to my parents - very special memories were created when he, Marie, and my parents entertained as the “Rejects” in various nursing homes. They even professionally recorded 2 CD’s, and I had the pleasure of watching and listening to them at the recording studio. I believe that Elton was the best friend my dad ever had, and I’m sure dad was waiting at the those pearly gates with many other of Elton’s friends and family to welcome him home. I hope that they soon will be making music together again to entertain all the other angels up there. HUGS to you all!
