Condolence: We send our deepest condolences to all of Kathy's family. I am ever in her debt as she taught me how to make a quilt, and I have been making them ever since. I am sure there are many others for whom she was an important inspiration. She is sadly missed.

Condolence: My sincere condolences on Kathy's passing. She was a gentle soul and although I didn't know her in her best years, I'm sure she left you with special memories. She did love you all so much, even in her confusion this showed through. It was my pleasure to know her at Lanark Lodge. May God speed her final journey.

Condolence: I had the good fortune to work with Kathy on several heritage-related projects over the years, particularly those concerning Inge-Va. In fact, she talked me into doing the first ghost walk twenty years ago. Truly a woman of great vision. She is missed.

Condolence: Bridget and Rachel -- so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I know these last years have been hard and that you've been missing your mom for a long time. But she is there in everything you do. You have both grown into such wonderful and wise mothers, because of the many good lessons you learned from her. Good mothering gets passed through generations and she gave you so much to build on. My heart is with you and your families during this difficult time.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Kathys passing. I got to know her over a few years when she would come with an worker on an outing into Coutts Coffee in the mill. I gave a few of the associates a lesson on how to knit twilly scarves. We would have a coffe break together there in the attrium. She was a lovely lady. So sorry for your loss. The ladies accompanying her spoke of the beautiful quilts she did.
