Rita passed away surrounded by the love of her family in the Perth Hospital on Thursday August 17th, 2017 at the age of 75. Rita was the dearly beloved wife of Bob Moore and cherished mother of Tammy Gemmill (Tom Mulville), Debbie (Dave) McNamee, Chris (Anne Marie) Moore, Lori (Paul) Boles, Jamie (Alyssa) Moore. She was adored Grandmother of Matt (Alex), Travis, Andrew (Kelsey) Shane (Lindsay), Cory, Olivia (Adam) Abbie (Jason), Declan, Heidi, Johnny, Robert, Alex, Avery and our special angel Emily and loved Great Grandma to Liam. Rita was predeceased by her parents Dan and Kathleen Norwood, her sisters Marie and Shirley and brothers Walter and Dan Jr., mother and father-in-law Ernie and Mary Moore, sister-in-law Evelyn and brothers-in-law Ernest, Keith and Clifford. Rita will be sadly missed by her sisters Jean (Mike), Irene (Bud) Mary-Theresa (Ken), Betty (Glen), Joanne (Glen), Julia (Bobby), Kaye (Ken), her brother Gordon, sister in law Dorothy and brother-in-law Bill as well as Bev (Lorne) and Ronnie (Jane) and Arlene, and many friends. Friends and family may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Sunday August 20th, 2017 from noon to 4:00 P.M. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. John’s Church, Perth, Monday at 11:00 A.M. Interment St John’s Cemetery. In memory of Rita, donations made to Emily’s Transportation Fund or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) would be appreciated.
