James Charles Barnett
Jim passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Beloved husband of Janis Barnett of 50 years. Loving and devoted father of Christopher and his wife Tanya, Melissa and her husband Andrew, and Matt and his wife Erin. Proud grandfather of Alex, Sam and Scott, Ross and Beatrice, and Elyse. Dear brother of Robert and his wife Millie Barnett. Jim will be missed by the card group and close family friend Michael Wilson. Fondly remembered by his cousins, extended family and many long time friends. Jim was a committed volunteer with Ducks Unlimited and the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority. Private family services will be held with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited or a memorial fund of choice.
