Condolence: I met Gail at the Maberly post office. As a relief employee, I always was happy to see her name on a package for pick up and hoped she would come while I was there so we could have a friendly chat. She is a wonderful person who I'm sure will be missed by many. My condolences to her family, who she always spoke of with great pleasure.

Condolence: I will always remember Gail as being accepting, and kind. Shauna and I were very good friends through hi-school and college. Our mothers in turn became very good friends with alot of similarities and although Shauna and I drifted apart, our mothers did not.
Another life taken far too soon from this terrible disease called cancer.
Rest in Peace beautiful soul .... You will not be forgotten.

Condolence: Gail and I met working at Bell in Stratford in the early 80s. We both started out as all night operators,we
both were Service Assistants,we both transferred to London Business Office. We both retired the same year!
We found we shared similar backgrounds-we were good kids, raised Catholic.
We shared similar interests-crafting, needlework, cross stitch, sewing and quilting.
Gail also knit-I did not.
I liked to bake-Gail, not so much.
We often took road trips when Gail lived in Stratford--small towns, interesting shops, good food!
We liked sweets-chocolate-Mint smoothies in particular.
We enjoyed the theatre- Stratford Festival ( we were liaisons between Bell and the theatre), Grand Theatre (where we had a subscription for many years when we worked in London)
I won't listen to a Burton Cummings song and not think of Gail.
When Gail moved to the Perth area again after retiring we (girlfriends, my parents) made several trips to
see her. Perth is a lovely area and we enjoyed seeing the sights with her.
Gail and I could talk about anything. Her calm approach always helped. We Bell girlfriends-if a problem arises- ask What would Gail say?
"We did the best we could at the time"-whenever we talked of regret.
I will miss her.
Knowing her was a privilege.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear that another friend has passed on.
Although I did not spend a lot of time with Gail, the time shared with her was always full of laughter....
The amount of time spent with friends is not as important as the quality...my deepest prayers are with you Shauna as well as the rest of your family...God bless.
