Passed away peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the age of 90. Floyd is predeceased by his wife Pearl and his companion and best friend Marion Harasimo (nee Love). Floyd will be sadly missed by Marion’s children, Olga Harasimo (Miller), Joe Harasimo and Grace Harasimo (Terwilliger), his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Floyd was also the brother to his two sisters, and will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends in the Smiths Falls community. The family would like to extend special thanks to Sharon Stoddard, and to the management and staff at the Perth Community Care Centre for their care of Floyd over the last number of years. Friends are invited to gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Scouts Canada or the charity of your choice.
