The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Norval Wilson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Hugh MacDonald
Condolence: I was introduced to Norval when he ran the store in Middleville by my neighbour, Frank Stroud (who just passed away). I also remember him when he worked at Orok's Home Hardware in Lanark.

Such a kind, sweet man.

Sorry for your loss.

Condolence: It is with saddness we heard of Norval's passing. It is very hard to lose a wonderful father and grandfather and our hearts go out to each of you. Norval was one of a kind. When I (Marilyn) think of Norval, I can almost hear him and my father (Joe Lalonde) laughing!! Dad had such respect for Norval and considered him a great friend. R.I.P. Norval. Condolence From: Cameron Johnstone
Condolence: Our hearts go out to the Wilson family. Norval was the first person to welcome my father when he purchased land in Lanark Highlands in the late 60s. Norval taught him the history and threads in the community. Norval always remembered their chats when I would see him at the Hopetown store. A rare gentleman whose deep relationship to the community will be missed.
