Condolences

Condolence From: Virgil Garrett
Condolence: A Tribute: Roscoe was asked to take the Secretary job in Frontenac Lodge for 1 year. 25 years later he was still doing this very important job. One drawback was to address about 130 envelopes. I know he must have had help from Brenda, Marion and Peter and we thank them.
My Bro. Roscoe - you have personified the tenets and principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. I salute you. Virgil

Condolence From: Anne Garrett
Condolence: A final goodbye to my Uncle Roscoe who died last week at the age of 94. He was insatiably curious and would grill me on my travels and local politics. He never talked much about the War, even though he was in the D Day landings building Bailey bridges for the engineers. He took us out to the sugar bush to collect sap to make maple syrup (with his best friend Harris and a team of horses). He let us "help" with the haying and hang out in the barn. He was a wickedly fast euchre player and a whiz at crokinole. A good life, well lived.

I will always remember working with Roscoe during thrashing, at the sawmill and pouring cement in his barn and he was a pleasure to work with. May your memories of him help you through this time of loss. Sincerely Mervin and Sylvia

Condolence: Roscoe holds a special place in my heart as he was at the Perth hospital the night that my mom passed away over 10 years ago. I still remember the wonderful hug he gave me, so comforting. Roscoe was such a great man, full of life and with a good spirit. My deepest condolences to Brenda and his entire family.

Condolence From: Hal Garrett
Condolence: Deepest sympathy on the passing of a great inspiration and very thoughtful man.I worked at Silver Lake Provincial Park in the late 70's and Roscoe was always just a phone call away at Sharbot Lake Park. He always had the time and patience for someone just getting their feet wet in the park system. Thanks Roscoe for the words of advice and wisdom and the odd joke and laugh thrown in.
