1921 ~ 2014
Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014. Everett was the third son of the late Victor and Elsie Park Hepton of Cooksville, Ontario where he grew up with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. The late Clarence, Austin (Ethel) and Ralph. Everett is survived by his 3 sisters Olive (John) Hickey, Shirley (Howard) Price and Enid and Don Earle. He leaves his loving wife of 68 years, Phyllis Bolton Hepton and 2 sons - Victor (Joanne) Hepton and Joseph Hepton, his grandchildren Sara (David) Jones and Richard (Chrissy) Hepton and his great grandchildren Wesley and Logan Hepton, Kadin and Hana Jones. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Norma and Jack Cutbill and Mabel Hepton, many nieces and nephews. Everett had a long interesting life - one of the Founders of the Richmond Curling Club and President of the Perth Lawn Bowling Club. As an Engineering Technician he spent 34 years at Ontario Hydro. He enjoyed 30 years of retirement with summers at Pike Lake and winters in Florida. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, October 24th, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Private interment will be held in the Scotch Line Cemetery. In memory of Everett donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 244 Perth, the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Paul's United Church, Perth.
