Doug passed away on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at Perth Community Care Centre at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Hilda (Johnston) Sproule and also by his brothers and sisters. Survived by his sister Elaine Creighton of Carleton Place. He will be fondly remembered by Deborah and Gail Hermer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Doug's life will be held in the Chapel of Perth Community Care Centre, 101 Christie Lake Rd. Perth on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
