Passed away peacefully in the Perth hospital on Tuesday August 19th, 2014, Fred W. Orok at the age of 87 years. Fred was the beloved husband for 67 years to Mona (Whyte) Orok, loved and respected father of Robert (Beryl), Judy (Paul) Vettorazzo and Joan Orok (David Hauraney). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Andrew and Matthew, Nick, Ryan and Chris, and Erin and Graham, great grandchildren Jarrod, Heidi, Imogene and Weylin and sister Shirley Reside. Fred was the founder and owner of Orok's Hardware Store in Lanark for many years. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark Thursday August 21st, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark Friday at 10:30 A.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark and District Public Library or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
