Grief: In Focus Interview with Rev. Grace Vaters

Rev. Grace grew up in Arnprior, she was ordained in the mid 1960’s.  With her husband, Rev. Nathaniel Vaters, has served churches in Newfoundland, Kemptville and Perth.  More recently, Grace served for 8 years as Chaplain for both Fairview Manor in Almonte and Lanark Lodge in Perth.  Upon her active retirement some 8 years ago, Grace has assumed the position of Chaplain for Blair & Son Funeral Homes.  She has brought to many many people, her warm personality and supporting words through her facilitation of funeral services and grief support.  Grace also provides help to those in need through one-on-one counseling, group support programs and public speaking as her commitment to the Blair & Son After Care and Community Support initiatives.
